Teen Counseling
This is a safe place for teens and their parents. Although shannanagins are discussed and confronted, teen confidentiality is respected, and there is not a judge in this office.
Wendy approaches her work with teens using cognitive-behavioral strategies, creative therapies (art, games, music, play), psychodynamic therapy, and skills training when appropriate. She specializes in working with teenage girls and young women experiencing low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, social problems, bullying issues, boyfriend related issues, school problems, behavior problems at home, trauma and anger issues.
She also specializes in working with young male teens struggling with social anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, depression, and/or anxiety.
Ms. Ludlow’s Qualifications: Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor
In order to become a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor, Wendy has received years of extensive post-graduate supervision and training as required and monitored by The National Association for Play Therapy (NAPT). Wendy also has advanced training in the treatment of people with trauma related issues (including dissociative disorders), social anxiety, Aspergers syndrome, add/adhd, and depression.
